Amie is a graduate of both the Community College of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, working with new families in labor and delivery, postpartum, and the well-baby nursery. She is a member of the Worcester Healthy Baby Collaborative and participated on the Baby Friendly designation team at St. Vincent Hospital Center for Women and Infants. In July 2022, Amie joined the Pernet team as the Maternal/Child Health Nurse and is now the Team Leader for the nursing department.
Amie moved to Worcester in 2018; She feels passionate about being part of her community and enjoys volunteering. In her spare time, Amie loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, and yoga.
